The Closet Story was born in a small apartment in Delhi, over cups of chai and heaps of fabric swatches. Two friends — Namrata and Samridhi — bound by a shared obsession with Indian craft and an impatience with fast fashion.

What began as sourcing beautiful pieces for family and friends grew into something much larger — a curated atelier that believes every Indian woman deserves to wear something that makes her feel seen.
